Karl Robinson

Karl Robinson, Owner and President of R&R Transportation, Inc., an asset-based trucking company that operates 24/7 within a geographical area of approximately 300 miles. The company has specialized services and a niche of LLTL "Local Less Than Truck Load" that it uses to service a wide variety of industries. Robinson’s business accolades include the Family Business Award 2019, Triad Business Journal; 2012 Piedmont Business Ethics Award, Society of Financial Service Professionals; and Minority Small Business “Person of The Year” 1998, Greensboro Chamber of Commerce. Robinson is active on several local and state boards: Board Chair, Guilford County Workforce Development Board; Board member, Greensboro Chamber of Commerce; Board member, Guilford County Economic Development Alliance; Board of Trustees, Guilford Technical Community College; Business Advisory Board, First National Bank; Board Chair, Piedmont Business Capital; and Regional Board Member, North Carolina Small Business and Technology Development Center. In 2017, he was one of eight gubernatorial public appointees to the North Carolina State Banking Commission. Robinson is a native of High Point and studied business administration at GTCC. Karl is married to Cassie W. Robinson and has 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren.

James Cockrell

James has been with our company for more than 25 years. He is a loyal and dependable member of our family. James fills R&R Transportation, Inc. with laughter and joy, and he always keeps a smile on our customers faces. In his free time, James loves to ride his motorcycle and enjoys relaxation.

Ferris Evans

Ferris started as a part-time employee and transitioned to a full-time schedule. He has now been with our company for more than 15 years, and we are happy that he decided to be a larger part of the R&R Transportation, Inc. family. Ferris is a wonderful asset, and he has built great relationships with our customers. On his days off, Ferris loves spending time with his son.

LaShelle Robinson

LaShelle has been with R&R Transportation, Inc. for more than 20 years, working in both accounts receivable and payable as well as handling fleet management operations. She brings great value to our company with her background in finance. She has a warm and inviting smile, and she ensures that our invoices are sent on time. In her spare time, LaShelle likes to spend time with her family and watching HGTV for new DIY ideas.

Kai Robinson

Kai joined the R&R Transportation, Inc. family 5 years ago as part of our office team. She keeps track of the daily logs, completes the monthly mileage reports and handles all Human Resource functions. Kai also makes customer courtesy calls and brings a smile and a positive attitude to our family. In her spare time, Kai enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and basketry.

Jerry Parker

Jerry, a Navy veteran, came to work for R & R Transportation, Inc. about 4 years ago but has been a professional driver for over 20 years. It was the family owned business practice that really attracted him to the company and he appreciated that Karl Robinson prioritized hiring veterans. When Jerry came to R & R and met several experienced drivers like himself, he also took note that they gave new CDL drivers a chance to gain experience but also gave 2nd chances to those that needed to get a fresh start. R & R Transportation, Inc. has given him an opportunity to do what he loves and make a good living. Jerry is proud to be part of the R & R Transportation, Inc. family and looks forward to this being his last employer until retirement.

German Bustillo Diaz

German has been a team member since March, 2020. He enjoys driving tractor trailers runs that are particularly long distance hauls. He also enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music, and his hobby is making deals and trades on the financial markets.

Leon Vance

Leon, better known as "Sam" has enjoyed driving for R&R Transportation for over 13 years. Sam enjoys traveling for relaxation, especially to locations where he can enjoy his hobbies of horse racing, watching NASCAR and doing physical workouts to keep in shape. He often takes specialty truck driving hauls which have included major transports for Honda Jet and other notable customers.

James Hairston

Having been with R&R Transportation, Inc. for close to 30 years, James "Mickey", has been a strong part of the business's foundation. He is a total company asset, a valued driver, and an individual who is also a highly trained mechanic that enjoys working on all types of vehicles. Mickey loves visiting racetracks, especially NASCAR and spending time with and caring for his family.

Odell Rush

Odell , is an Army veteran who has been employed for over 13 years with R&R Transportation, Inc. He enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations with his wife.

Garland Jackson

Garland has been driving with R&R Transportation, Inc. for over 10 years. He has been married for over 37 years and enjoys spending time with his family. In his spare time Garland loves building radio controlled race cars, truck and construction toys as well as watching NASCAR.
